Speed Limits in Belgium
Overview
The general speed limits in Belgium are as follows:
- 30 kmh (19 mph) in the entire Brussels-Capital Region with the exception of certain main axes with
- On a motorway the maximum authorized speed is 120 kmh except where road signs impose a different speed limit.
Important Note
When a road sign indicates a different speed limit, that limit takes precedence over the general speed limit.
