AS Monaco Appoints Adi Hütter as New Head Coach

Former Eintracht Frankfurt Boss Takes the Helm

AS Monaco have officially announced the appointment of Adi Hütter as their new head coach. The Austrian manager joins the Ligue 1 club after guiding Eintracht Frankfurt to Europa League glory in 2022.

Impressive Coaching Credentials

Hütter boasts an impressive track record in management. With Eintracht Frankfurt, he won the DFB-Pokal in 2018 and led the club to their first major European trophy in 42 years when they defeated Rangers in the Europa League final last season. Prior to that, he won the Swiss Super League title with Young Boys in 2018.

A Proven Developer of Talent

One of Hütter's strengths is his ability to develop young players. At Eintracht Frankfurt, he played a key role in the emergence of stars such as Evan Ndicka, Daichi Kamada, and Filip Kostic. He will now be tasked with continuing that trend at Monaco, which has a long-standing tradition of nurturing young talent.

Replacing Niko Kovac

Hütter replaces Niko Kovac, who was dismissed by Monaco earlier this summer. The Croatian manager had led the club to a third-place finish in Ligue 1 during the 2021/22 season but failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Ambitious Plans

Monaco are hoping that Hütter can lead them to sustained success on both the domestic and European fronts. The club has invested heavily in its squad in recent years, signing players such as Aurélien Tchouameni, Aleksandr Golovin, and Kevin Volland.

Hütter's appointment has been met with optimism by Monaco fans, who are eager to see their club compete for major honors once again. The Austrian manager will be officially unveiled at a press conference later today.
